Hard Floor Surface
Maintenance:
·
Sweep or Dust Mop: Presents a clean and orderly
appearance at all times.

Surface Accumulations Removal: We scrap and
then remove accumulations with special care to
avoid damage to floor tiles or finish.
·
Spot Mopping: Removes spills, spots and stains.
Care will be taken to avoid splashing of walls,
baseboards, furnishings, etc. Disks of
cardboard or plastic will be placed under or
around furniture legs to prevent rust stains.

Spray Buffing: Ensures a high gloss,
non-slippery finish on all floors. The
procedure we employ will repair and refurnish
worn areas of finish and removes heel and scuff
marks. Extreme care shall be exercised to
prevent hitting or otherwise damaging walls,
baseboards, furnishings with the floor machine.

Stripping and Refinishing: We remove
accumulations of dirt, finish, discolorations,
stains, and rust spots from finished floors.
Flooding of floors with stripping solution or
rinse water will be avoided at all times.
Extreme caution will be exercised to prevent
splashing of walls, baseboards or furnishings.
Any furnishings moved in order to accomplish the
procedure will be replaced to proper position
when work is completed.

Waxing: We use a sealer and some coats of
slip-resisting floor finish. Floors will be
clean and free from scuff marks, stains, rust,
dirt, gum, tar, old finish, etc. before finish
is applied. Coats will be applied with adequate
time for drying allowed between coats.
Carpet
Maintenance:

Carpet Cleaning: Carpets will present a
uniformly clean appearance at all times free
from spots, stains, chewing gum, tar, grease,
litter etc. Any tears, rips, burns, or
indelible stains shall be reported for repair or
placement.

Vacuuming: Close attention paid to corners,
edges, and areas that are inaccessible to the
machine. Appropriate hand tools will be
employed to assure that these areas are properly
cleaned. Care will be exercised to prevent
hitting or otherwise damaging walls, baseboards
or furnishings with the vacuum or attachments.
Bags will be emptied or cleaned regularly.
Walk-off mats will also be vacuumed and any
furniture that is moved to perform these tasks
will be replaced.

Spot Cleaning: Carpets will be spot cleaned as
necessary to remove gum, tar, grease, spills,
spots, stains, etc. A solvent cleaner will be
used provided that it is safe and does not cause
facing or discoloration. Aerosol chewing gum
remover may be used with a putty knife with
careful attention paid to avoid damaging carpet
fibers.

Shampooing: Prolong the life of your carpeting.
